Summary:
“Bound by unpredictable twists of fate and forced circumstances, this sprawling narrative delves deep into the complex, volatile landscapes of healing, unhealed scars, and silent surrenders. As the multi-layered plot unfolds, the story brilliantly navigates the emotional trials of various couples—from the turbulent journeys of Moatasim and Prisha, Zariam and Hoorib, Arhan and Miral, to Azmeer and Munto—ultimately centering on the compelling, contrasting dynamic between Dr. Zavian Khanzada and Ayn-ul-Haq. Burdened by the haunting shadow of his first incomplete romance, Zavian finds himself tied in a marriage of circumstance to the spirited, talkative, and endearingly stubborn Ayn-ul-Haq. Through razor-sharp banter, colliding egos, hidden vulnerabilities, and the gradual melting of hardened hearts, the narrative explores how unexpected bonds can blossom into profound, soul-deep devotion. It is a captivating saga of emotional evolution and unexpected romance that lingers in the heart long after the final page.”

About The Novel:
English
Lifting his lowered gaze, he watched the girl stepping toward him—the one who had just been bound to him in nikah moments ago.
Dressed in a pristine white bridal frock, she looked breathtakingly ethereal today, and Zavian Khanzada silently admitted it to himself. Yet, true to Ayn-ul-Haq’s frequent accusations, Zavian would never voice a single word of praise.
A sudden vibration in his pocket broke his trance, prompting him to pull out his phone. A message from Sajaul lit up the screen:
“Hey, it’s your wedding! At least crack a smile and take her hand.”
Reading the text, Zavian let out an involuntary chuckle, took a deep breath, and stood up. He watched Ayn-ul-Haq approaching, flanked by Arshia and a few other girls, drawing closer step by step.
“Well, Zavian, this buni is officially yours now!” Arshia teased playfully as they neared the stage.
Despite her remark, Zavian’s expression remained entirely unchanged. With stoic seriousness, he simply extended his strong palm toward Ayn-ul-Haq. Surprised by the gesture, she looked up at him with wide eyes, only to lower her gaze the next second and slip her henna-adorned hand into his.
“I told you something, Ayn-ul-Haq,” he murmured the moment she was seated beside him, his sharp gaze instantly dropping to her bridal shoes. A wave of suppressed exasperation washed over him. Would this girl ever listen to anything he said?
“Look, Dr. Zi, I am who I am, and I’ll stay just like this. I don’t know how to put on a show, so don’t ask me to do things I can’t. If you had asked me nicely, I might have actually considered it, but your rude demeanor makes it impossible for me to ever obey you!”
“I asked you quite nicely. What else do you want—should I have pulled you into a hug to get my point across?”
Her cheeks flushed crimson at his blunt retort, catching her off guard. But she quickly composed herself and looked right back at him.
“Yes, you could have! After all, I’m your wife now. And let me tell you a fun fact, Dr. Zi: I actually love being short.”
“I’m not going to ask why you love it.”
Tossing his head back, he averted his gaze, while Ayn-ul-Haq shrugged indifferently at his dismissal.
“Well, I’m going to tell you anyway! You know, from watching too many dramas, I always imagined my hero doing that classic romantic scene with me—you know, the one where the hero lifts his heroine or pulls her close. It’s my absolute dream for my husband to love me fiercely, so deeply that my name echoes in his heartbeat, and then he pulls me close so I can rest my head right over his heart and easily hear my name beating inside him. If I were tall, how would I ever reach your heart?”
A cynical, mocking smile touched Zavian’s lips at her words.
“Keep dreaming, because that will never happen. Get it out of your head right now, Ayn-ul-Haq—my heart will never beat for your name, and I will certainly never let you close enough to reach it.”
“Well, now that you’re married to me, you’ll just have to fulfill my wishes anyway, won’t you?” she reasoned softly, trying her best to drill some sense into the resident “doctor-executioner.”
“What makes you think I entered into this marriage by choice, Ayn-ul-Haq? I only did this out of pure compulsion, for the sake of my family.”
“I’m so heartbroken to hear that you were forced to saddle yourself with a calamity like me! Do you even realize how long you’re going to have to suffer this compulsion?”
“I don’t know. But I certainly aren’t going to spend the rest of my life with a girl like you. I needed someone like me, someone of my own type.”
“Too late for that now, Dr. Zi, we’re already married!”
“Yes, our nikah is done—meaning for the next couple of years, I’ll just have to make do with you. Oh well, I’ll survive. It’s only a few years, after all, and by then I’ll probably find someone who’s actually my type.”
“Don’t act like a cheap Danish Taimoor, Doctor! I am stuck on your head for the rest of your life. If you even dare think about anyone else besides me, I will break every single bone in your body!”
With a bright, defiant smile playing on her lips, she gritted out the threat. Faced with her absolute authority, Zavian could only shake his head in quiet disbelief.
