Rahim looked strikingly handsome in his army uniform, deeply engrossed in examining a official file, when a voice called out from behind. He recognized that voice instantly. Turning around, he saw a girl standing there, dressed in a military uniform similar to his own.
“Yes, Miss?” Rahim responded with a cold, detached tone, showing not even a sliver of sympathy for Shanzeh.
Shanzeh looked back at Rahim Khan with equal seriousness. “Sir Danish has called for you,” she informed him and turned to leave. But Rahim’s next words instantly filled her eyes with tears.
“Try your best to stay out of my sight, or one day I’ll take your life. And trust me, I won’t feel a second of regret doing it.”
Shanzeh paused and turned back. She was so deeply cherished by her parents, and by Babar, who had loved her since childhood. Yet in Rahim’s eyes, she had always been treated like absolute trash; he degraded her whenever he pleased.
Wiping the moisture from her eyes, Shanzeh met his gaze. “Sir, one day you will be consumed with regret over your own words. You will stand before me with your head bowed in shame, but by then, it will be far too late. I will never forgive you—mark my words.”

جی مس روکھے انداز میں پیش آتے راحم کو ایک پل بھی شانزے پر ترس نہیں آیا تھا شانزے بھی سنجیدگی سے راحم خان کو دیکھ رہی تھی آپکو سر دانش نے بلایا ہے شانزے کہتی واپس جانے لگی تھی جب پھر سے راحم کی بات پر آنکھوں میں نمکین پانی سا بھر گیا تھا ۔۔۔
کوشش کیا کرو میرے سامنے مت آیا کرو ورنہ کسی دن جان لے لوں گا تمہاری میں اور یقین کرو ایک پل کو بھی دکھ نہیں ہو گا مجھے یہ کام کرتے ۔۔۔۔۔
شانزے پیچھے مڑی کتنی قیمتی تھی وہ اپنے والدین کے لیے بابر کے لیے جو بچپن سے اسے پیار کرتا تھا لیکن راحم کی نظر میں ہمیشہ وہ کسی کوڑے سے کم نہیں رہی تھی راحم کا جب دل کرتا وہ اسے بے عزت کر دیتا ۔۔۔۔
