Summary:

”This deeply moving and emotional narrative weaves together multiple complex tracks of love, trust, sacrifice, and quiet surrender. The story brilliantly captures the intense chemistry and emotional growth across various relationships: from Moatasim’s patient restraint as he gives Prisha the space to accept him, to Zariam and Hoorib’s lighthearted, affectionate banter; and from Arhan and Miral’s unshakeable trust to Azmeer and Munto’s volatile yet deeply devoted bond. Through heartbreaking misunderstandings, moments of fierce possessiveness, and the ultimate healing power of forgiveness, the narrative explores how true love survives through trials and anchors the soul. It is a captivating saga of hearts learning to trust, forgive, and love without boundaries.”

About The Novel:

English

”Hooram!”
A collective, involuntary scream escaped everyone’s lips, but the bullet had not hit her. All eyes instantly shifted to the blood streaming down Irtaza’s arm.
Blood was gushing rapidly from where the bullet had grazed his arm, yet the man standing right before them bore no expression of pain, watching them all with absolute, unyielding seriousness.
He looked down at Hooram standing close to him, her face soaked in tears, looking dangerously close to fainting at any second.
”You were right, Zariam bhai. I cannot harm Hooram, but I can certainly harm myself. My nikah with Hooram will happen right now, this very second. And if it doesn’t, I swear to God I will end my life right here, standing on this spot!”
As soon as Irtaza loosened his grip, Hooram bolted and buried herself straight against Zariam’s chest, her entire body trembling violently. Seeing her shaking like a leaf, Zariam felt a sudden, fierce urge to kill the man standing before him with his own bare hands.
”Irtaza, you can find any girl you want—”
”I only want Hooram! Perform my nikah right now, this very instant, or I will destroy myself!”
He pressed the muzzle of the pistol directly against his temple. Seeing this, Hafsa gasped, her terrified gaze darting toward Zariam. She knew all too well how stubborn Irtaza could be when it came to his reckless demands, and that was precisely what terrified her the most. She refused to lose her only child.
”Zariam, please! I promise you, Hooram will be happy. We won’t let even a single scratch touch her. Please agree, Zariam, I beg you for God’s sake, I cannot lose my son!” she cried, joining her hands together in front of him, pleading desperately.
How could he possibly agree to her terms?
”Hafsa aunty, that is simply not possible.”
”Zariam, if you just say yes, it will become possible!”
He looked down at Hooram, who was clinging to his chest, trying desperately to hide her shaking frame within him. How could he hand over his own daughter to a man who had terrified her to this terrifying extent?
Hooram’s sobs, Hafsa’s frantic pleas, and the distinct, chilling click of a pistol cocking echoed simultaneously in his ears. In a state of utter, suffocating helplessness, he heard his own voice whisper:
”I accept.”
”Hooram Shah, daughter of Zariam Shah, your nikah with Irtaza Effendi, son of Ihsan Effendi, has been settled with a haq mehr of twenty-five million rupees, payable on demand. Do you accept this nikah?”
The half-faded henna on her hands was chipping and scattering away—the very henna she had applied in Arhan’s name. How cruelly fate had played with her.
Dressed in a white shirt and trousers paired with a radiant red dupatta draped over her head, her face stained with tears, cheeks flushed red from crying, Hooram looked breathtakingly, heartbreakingly gorgeous even in this chaotic state.
When she remained entirely silent, the Maulvi repeated the words once more.
At this, Hooram cast a look of pure, unadulterated hatred toward Irtaza sitting right across from her—though his eyes were shining with nothing but adoration. His arm was currently bandaged by Jannat, but fresh blood still stained his shirt.
”I accept.”
”Do you accept this nikah?”
”I accept.”
”Do you accept this nikah?”
”I accept.”
The nikah papers were placed before her, and a pen was pushed into her trembling fingers. But because of her shaking hands, she couldn’t even manage to sign. Gently, Zariam placed his hand over hers, offering silent reassurance. Feeling the solid warmth of his hand over the back of hers, she managed to shakily drag the pen across the paper and sign.
The moment she signed, the Maulvi turned to Irtaza, who responded eagerly and joyfully signed the documents.
As soon as the nikah was solemnized, Hooram scrambled to her feet and bolted straight toward her room, while everyone else stood frozen in their spots. There were no cheers, no shouts of congratulations. Among them all, Irtaza was the only one whose face radiated an unmasked joy that everyone could see.
Noticing how everyone stood rooted like statues, Irtaza smiled and walked over to Zariam on his own to greet him.
”Aren’t you going to offer your blessings, father-in-law? I am your only son-in-law, after all.”
At his words, Zariam clenched his fists so tightly his knuckles turned white; his heart was screaming to smash Irtaza’s face in. Seeing Zariam’s rigid, furious expressions, a brilliant, unfazed smile danced on Irtaza’s lips, though he quickly forced it down, knowing that flashing a smile in this suffocating atmosphere would only push everyone’s boiling anger past the breaking point.
